March 26, 2018 (New York, NY) — eMarketer is pleased to announce the addition of Andrew Lipsman into its own analyst group. Lipsman will function as the chief analyst covering ecommerce and retail. Prior to eMarketer, he had been senior vice president of advertising and insights in comScore Inc., covering several industries and overseeing the business’s international marketing insights and thought leadership projects.

“Having known and interacted with Andrew for well more than ten years, I am delighted to have someone with his prestige, knowledge base and electronic expertise join our growing team of content specialists in eMarketer,” said eMarketer co-founder and chief innovation officer Geoff Ramsey.

Lipsman specializes in several research areas, including social media, ecommerce, cellular, electronic advertisements and cross-platform advertising. He’ll draw upon his vast expertise to delve into topics including mcommerce, omnichannel, voice and direct-to-consumer.

Lipsman is often quoted by leading organizations, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Ad Age, CNN, Fortune, Bloomberg Businessweek and Newsweek. He began his career in The NPD Group, working with clients such as Kraft Foods and Johnson & Johnson. He earned his MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, with concentrations in marketing, entrepreneurship and strategy, and a BA in public policy studies from Duke University.
