BERLIN: The ant-religion Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster can be prohibited from advertising its services on the outskirts of the town, a German state court ruled on Wednesday. The Brandenburg court refused an appeal filed by the group, which criticises faith as intolerant and has amassed followers worldwide, contrary to an earlier ruling this past year. “The suing party is seen as neither a spiritual community nor a community with a common world view,” the court said in a statement. German churches frequently advertise services in the entrance into a city, and the Spaghetti Monster band had sought consent to do exactly the exact same in the town north west of Berlin.
